Split expenses with a group
What you need
- Gradually Premium
Create a group
- On the Groups tab, tap +.
- Enter a Name, choose a Currency, and tap Save.
- In the group, tap Add Member for each person, enter their Name, and tap Save.
Add an expense
- In the group, tap +.
- Enter the amount and choose who it was Paid by.
- Under Split, leave everyone at ×1 to split it evenly, or change the shares.
- Tap Save.
- Someone at ×2 pays twice as much as someone at ×1. Set a share to 0 to leave someone out.
- To split item by item, turn on Split by items, add each item with its price, and tap an item to choose who shares it.
Read the balances
- Who owes whom lists the payments that would settle everyone up. “Maya → Wenhao C$244.70” means Maya owes Wenhao C$244.70.
- Members shows whether each person owes, is owed, or is settled.
Change or delete an expense
- To change one, tap it under Activity, then tap the pencil.
- To delete one, swipe left on it and tap Delete.
Common questions
I don't see the Groups tab
Turn on Enable Groups in Settings.
My expense won't save
Someone other than the person who paid needs a share. Add a member first if you haven't.
Can I change the group's currency later?
Yes, in Edit Group, but amounts already entered aren't converted.
