Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. Tracking, budgeting, trends, and net worth are free with no time limit. Premium is optional and unlocks sync, scanning, groups, and the other power tools.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free one. You sign up with your email and a passkey (Face ID or Touch ID), so there is no password to create or to leak. Setup also gives you a 24-word recovery phrase to store safely: it is the only way back in if you lose your passkey. Your financial data stays on your device, and anything you sync is encrypted there first with a key only you hold, so we cannot read it.

Which devices can scan receipts?

Scanning runs entirely on your device using Apple Intelligence, so nothing you photograph is uploaded. That means it needs iOS 26 or later on a device that supports Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPad with M1 or newer, or iPad mini with A17 Pro), with Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything else on this page works on iOS 18 or later.

What happens after the free trial?

You get one month of Premium free when you start a trial. If you don't continue, your app simply reverts to the Free plan. Your data stays on your device, untouched.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions are managed through your App Store account and can be cancelled at any time. You keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Everything you tracked stays on your device. Sync and Premium-only tools simply pause until you upgrade again.

Do you offer a family or student price?

Not yet. Premium is a single flat price for everyone: no upsells, no tiers, no bundles. If that changes, we'll say so here first.
